Students are actively encouraged to analyze and present cases through written reports, as well as individual and group presentations, enhancing their analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at GRV School of Management is the result of comprehensive benchmarking against top global business schools, combined with ongoing curriculum reviews conducted by faculty in collaboration with industry experts, alumni, and students. This dynamic curriculum is carefully curated to develop future-ready managers who:
  1. Possess in-depth, holistic knowledge of their functional specialization and understand its strategic role in delivering a firm’s value proposition.
  2. Are industry-ready, with a strong grasp of concepts, frameworks, and models grounded in real-world application.
  3. Demonstrate sustainable employability through contemporary and forward-looking courses designed to build cutting-edge competencies.

Over the two-year program, students undertake a mix of core and elective courses. These courses are thoughtfully categorized into foundational knowledge, perspective-building modules, tools and techniques, and functional areas of management.
  • The first year is divided into three academic terms, each lasting approximately 10 weeks of instruction followed by up to 2 weeks of examinations. This phase includes only core courses, aimed at building a strong foundation in management principles and business understanding across disciplines.
  • From Term 4 onwards, students transition to elective courses, allowing them to specialize in their chosen area. Terms 4, 5, and 6 are entirely composed of these electives, enabling deep dives into specific domains through a wide array of specialized offerings.
An essential part of the program is the Summer Internship Project (SIP), undertaken after the first year. Students are required to complete an 8–10 week internship with a public or private sector organization. The SIP is a compulsory component of the PGDM and is designed to provide hands-on managerial experience, strengthen the application of classroom learning, and build insight into industry practices and business problem-solving.In the second year, the curriculum is exclusively focused on electives, which may include:
  • Courses from various specialization areas
  • Independent study projects
  • Student exchange programs
  • The International Immersion Programme (IIP)
The International Immersion Programme serves as a vital global learning experience and takes place after Term-3. It provides students with exposure to international business practices and global market dynamics. This program includes 15 hours of classroom instruction in a selected elective, along with corporate and industrial visits at one of GRV’s international partner institutions. Credits earned during the IIP are counted toward Term-4.

This comprehensive structure ensures that students graduate not only with academic knowledge, but with practical, global, and strategic insights necessary to succeed in today’s competitive business world.Few of the planned partnering Institute for IIP are as follows.
  1. Nanyang Business School (NBS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
  2. Risk Management Institute (RMI), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore
  3. Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai (UAE)
  4. Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Frankfurt (Germany)

GRV School of Management (GRVSOM) is set to launch its annual International Immersion Programme (IIP) as an integral and complementary component of all full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes. This programme is a mandatory part of the PGDM curriculum and is typically scheduled during the third term of the first academic year.

The primary goal of the IIP is to offer students an enriching and hands-on learning experience by exposing them to global business environments and international best practices relevant to their chosen specializations. The programme includes 15 hours of classroom instruction over five days at one of GRVSOM’s partner institutions abroad, alongside industry visits, corporate engagements, and experiential learning sessions. Participation in the IIP is subject to prevailing international travel advisories and safety conditions. In situations such as a global pandemic or other travel restrictions, the Institute reserves the right to cancel or postpone the programme. The final selection of the international location or partner institution for each elective rests solely with GRVSOM.
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at GRV School of Management follows a credit-based system, where each credit represents 10 hours of classroom instruction. A typical 3-credit course entails approximately 30 contact hours in class, along with an estimated 70 hours dedicated to preparation, assignments, and self-study — totaling around 100 hours of academic engagement. To successfully complete the PGDM programme and be eligible for the diploma, a student must earn a total of 109.5 credits.
