Overview


Admission to the Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), is carried out through a rigorous selection process. The students are handpicked by the experienced faculty along with a professional from the industry. This ensures that the students perform remarkably well in academics during their two-year stint at GRV School of Management (GRVSOM) and later go on to achieve great success professionally. The Institute encourages diversity greatly and the student’s profile is highly diverse in terms of gender, academic qualifications and work experience. The Institute is working hard to make the student force more diverse in terms of region and ethnic background and is encouraging candidates from the North-East and South India to seek admission to the PGDM programme.The below programmes aim at developing multiple skills including managerial decision-making, problem-solving, analytical reasoning, communication, creativity and innovation.

PGDM 


The Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management is an AICTE approved* programme. The Programme is designed and is emphasised from the very beginning of the programme. Through this programme student will be exposed to core managerial concepts, business problems, big data ecosystem, case studies, data driven case studies and tools, platforms and software to solve them. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent recognized by AICTE/UGC/AIU. Candidates must also take the CAT-2024/XAT- 2025/GMAT Examination (the GMAT Score should be of a test taken between 1st January 2023 & 30th January 2025) or any of the AICTE approved qualifying entrance exam of PGDM.
 

Selection weightage for the 2025-27 batch

Shortlisting for the Selection Process is based on CAT-2024 percentile/ XAT-2025 percentile/ GMAT Score/ Score of any other AICTE approved qualifying Entrance exam for PGDM. The final selection is based on CAT/XAT percentile/ GMAT Score/ Score of any other AICTE approved qualifying Entrance exam for PGDM, Academic Performance, Work Experience, parameters as stated under Variable Components, and performance in Personal Interaction (PI). 

Personal Interactions are planned to be conducted by experienced professionals from the academia and industry to ensure that the selected candidates perform well during their PGDM programme and subsequently achieve success professionally.

The weightage proposed to be given to different parameters of the Eligibility cum selection are:

  1. A. Fixed Mandatory Components for selection (maximum 75 points):
  1. CAT/XAT/GMAT/Any other AICTE approved qualifying Entrance exam for PGDM score: 35% or 35 points
  2. Academic Performance: 20% or 20 points (Xth – 5%, XIIth-6%, Graduation-9%)
  3. Personal Interaction: 20% or 20 points

 

  1. B.Variable Components for selection (maximum 25 points):

A candidate can earn a maximum of 25 points, cumulatively, under the following selection components as per their background.

  1. Work-Ex: 15% or 15 points [1 year & above – 5%, 2 to 3 Years – 10%, 3 Years & above – 15%]
  2. Regional Diversity (applicable for applicants outside Bengaluru): 5% or 5 points
  3. Gender Diversity (for female applicants): 5% or 5 points
  4. Sports Background Applicants – 5% or 5 points if played at National Level, 10% or 10 points if played at International level
  5. Startup Background as a founder – 15% or 15 points
  6. Incubation Idea (subject to the incubation proposal submitted along with the application form) – 10% or 10 points


If a candidate is able to accumulate more than 25 points on all above six parameters (variables), then also only 25 points (as maximum) will be considered for their selection process.

The above fee is inclusive of tuition fee, examination fees, extra and co-curricular activities, library, books and reading material, IT Services, etc.Students admitted to the two-year PGDM programs (approved by AICTE) in the academic year 2025-26 shall make fee payments (exclusive of hostel fee/ charges) as follows:
  1. To pay a total of Rs 12,00,000 in four instalments,
  2. Company sponsored students to pay Rs 15,00,000 in four instalments,
  3. To pay Rs 50,000 as a Token Fee (refundable if withdrawing, adjustable if continuing) on being given admission to retain waitlist status,
  4. To pay 25% of fee as Ist instalment on being given admission offer (after adjusting Rs 50,000 as Token Fees, if paid earlier) by 30th June,2025 (tentative last date of admission) of the year before classes begin in Term-1
  5. To pay 25% of fee as IInd instalment by 31st October of the admission calendar year,
  6. To pay 25% of fee as IIIrd instalment by 31st January of the next calendar year,
  7. To pay last 25% balance fee as IVth and final instalment by 15th June of the next calendar year.   

Registration Fee:
A one-time Registration Fee of Rs. 21,000/- (Rupees Twenty-One Thousand only) is payable in addition to the admission fee. Registration fee includes: 
  1. Rs. 8,000/- towards Security Deposit (refundable), 
  2. Rs. 5,000/- towards Medical Insurance with Personal Accident Policy for 2 years, and 
  3. Rs. 8,000/- towards Student Activities charges
What is the admission process for the Two-Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes?

The admission process of the Two-Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes is as follows:

  • Apply to GRV School of Management (GRVSOM) from our official website
  • Take CAT-2024/XAT-2025/GMAT Examination or any of the AICTE approved qualifying entrance exam for PGDM.
  • Shortlisting of candidates on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT Score/ or any of the AICTE approved qualifying entrance exam for PGDM Score
  • Call for the “Selection Process” of Shortlisted Candidates
  • Final selection based on CAT/XAT/GMAT/ or any of the AICTE approved qualifying entrance exam for PGDM Score, Performance in selection process, academic performance & work experience

Yes, candidates appearing in the final year examination of graduation in 2025 can apply subject to furnishing the proof of Graduation by Wednesday, October 01, 2025.

Being a new PGDM programme with all requirements met, the AICTE approval is expected soon.

Yes, candidates applying under Company Sponsored Category need to download the specified format from website appropriately, fill up, get it signed and send it to the Institute. Candidates can apply either in Self Sponsored Category or Company Sponsored Category. Change in category is not allowed.

Yes, the candidates must upload/update the CAT/XAT/GMAT/Any other AICTE Approved qualifying entrance exam scorecard /score.

As per AICTE guidelines, there is relaxation in cut-off percentage up to 10% (subject to minimum eligibility requirement) to the wards of Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir Valley to the admission to the PGDM Programmes of the Institute.

The Selection Process is proposed to be conducted in New Delhi, Bengaluru & Online. The management reserves the right to cancel any of these venues for the process. However, if there is online selection process, the candidate will be informed accordingly.
